In a city defined by its global soundscapes, Toronto’s underground continues to push boundaries at the intersection of cultures. The latest proof comes courtesy of Nigerian-born artist/producer OG Spaceman and Toronto's own OluwahSoft, who have joined forces on their high-octane single, “PACK AM.”
Driven by dynamic production from Ovietheog, "PACK AM" merges the heavy, bouncing low-end of drill with the infectious rhythm of Afrobeats—creating a crowd-ready Afro-drill anthem centered on relentless hustle, motivation, and seizing every moment within reach.
The title itself—"PACK AM"—is Nigerian Pidgin for taking it all, and the track operates with that exact mindset: going after the money, the night, and the victory. Built around an irresistible call-and-response hook, the track’s core title doubles as a chant designed for packed venues to shout back in unison.
The chemistry between both vocalists drives the record forward. OG Spaceman and OluwahSoft trade verses seamlessly, pairing their distinct vocal deliveries over Ovietheog’s punchy beatwork to keep the energy elevated from start to finish.
While the track opens with celebratory energy, the narrative shifts on the second verse into vivid, grounded storytelling. The verse details a real-world reality: a friend from Iyana Ipaja, Lagos, gets picked up by police and calls for funds to be sent. It's a reminder of how quickly money comes and goes—and why the hustle never stops, regardless of where you are on the map.
OG Spaceman has been steadily building momentum in the Canadian independent scene with a signature sound that weaves together Afrobeats, R&B, and alternative hip-hop—written across English, Pidgin, and Yoruba. Previously featured on Spotify’s Fresh Finds Canada editorial playlist, his 2026 run also includes the standout single “4EVER” featuring UWA.
With OluwahSoft providing the perfect vocal counterpart on "PACK AM," the duo delivers a standout record that cements Afro-drill as one of the most exciting sonic exports coming out of Toronto right now.
"PACK AM" is available now on all major streaming platforms.
