DNTE - Diamond Flooded Jesus
Most artists line up months of social media teasers, high-budget music videos, and elaborate promo campaigns for a album release. Toronto’s DNTE takes a vastly different approach.
On Tuesday, August 18, 2026—a date that marks his birthday—the Toronto lyricist dropped his latest 12-track project, Diamond Flooded Jesus. True to form, DNTE isn't one for personal celebrations or broadcasting his birthday. Instead, he kept the date quiet and opted to give himself the ultimate gift: releasing a complete body of work entirely on his own terms.
Diamond Flooded Jesus showcases DNTE’s self-reliant vision. He produced almost the entire 12-track offering himself, handling both the sonic landscape and the lyrical heavy lifting. The sole production exception comes on Track 10, which features beatwork from featured artist and frequent collaborator Wizdome Bunitall.
The project's technical credits round out a precise crew of collaborators:
Written & Performed by: DNTE
Primary Production: DNTE (Track 10 produced by Wizdome Bunitall)
Mixed by: StokelyTheEngineer
Mastered by: CARVO
Cover Artwork: Yovng Greco
This birthday release follows DNTE's recent direct-to-consumer effort, Soliloquy of a Sociopath, created alongside producer IM’PERETIV. By offering that project directly to fans outside traditional streaming frameworks, DNTE cemented a commitment to independence that Diamond Flooded Jesus continues.
For listeners looking for raw, uncompromised Toronto hip-hop, Diamond Flooded Jesus is available now exclusively on Bandcamp before hitting wider platforms.
